  • A full featured, full suspension internal framed pack, the Catalyst remains the tried and true workhorse of the ULA pack line.

No matter where the adventure takes you, the Catalyst will be there – ready to carry loads of up to 40 pounds. If you are looking for a pack that will haul a bear canister, or carry your fishing, climbing or photo gear with ease, the Catalyst is an excellent choice. Not only will it carry a good sized load, but it can also be checked as baggage on a plane! The Catalyst has consistently been among the top 5 most popular packs on the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail.

Internal frame with a twin stay framesheet, comfy padded hipbelt, and contoured shoulder straps make for all day comfort even when you’re loaded down. Front mesh pocket, dual hipbelt pockets, and Robic adjustable side pockets make it easy to stay organized whether you’re on a thru, or just out for the weekend. Weighing only 48 oz – including all the extras! – this pack will lighten you up but still handle the toughest duties.

The Catalyst is sewn with our 400 ULA Robic Fabric, the toughest stuff ounce for ounce we’ve ever seen.  This is one tough pack that will give you years of hiking bliss, even if you are a bit tough on your gear.

Bottom Line? The Catalyst is a tough and light pack built for traditional backpackers.

  • Lets’ face it, every mother has a favorite child – ours is the Circuit. Weighing in at less than 41 oz, we don’t think there’s a pack out there that can compare to the load carrying capabilities, comfort, and durability of the Circuit pack. If you have your total pack weight down around 30 pounds and want to feel the freedom of traveling light, this is the pack for you. The Circuit has been the most popular pack on the Pacific Crest Trail for the past 3 years according to the Halfway Anywhere annual survey of PCT thru hikers.

The Circuit pack utilizes a 1.2 oz carbon fiber and Delrin suspension hoop in conjunction with a dense internal foam frame and a single aluminum stay to give you excellent back panel support, maximum load control, weight transfer, and pack rigidity without limiting your range of movement.

The Circuit is sewn with our 400 ULA Robic Fabric, the toughest stuff ounce for ounce we’ve ever seen.  This is one tough pack that will give you years of hiking bliss, even if you are a bit tough on your gear.  This pack will take the abuse of a 2,600 mile hike and beg for more.

The Ultra-Sil™ Pack Cover ends the debate about whether you should carry one or not. It’s a tiny and compelling solution and the medium size weighs less a mere 4 ounces. Packs into its own small stuff sack – why wouldn’t you carry one?

    • Made of 30D Ultra-Sil™ fabric constructed from CORDURA® yarns for durable, waterproof performance.
    • This pack cover does not use seam construction to ensure that it is completely waterproof
    • Packaged in its own mini siliconized Nylon stuff sack that remains attached to the cover so it can’t get lost
    • Keeper strap (sizes S-L) pulls the pack cover tight across the pack harness
    • Sold in four sizes to fit daypacks up to large backpacks

The Ultra-Sil™ Pack Liner won the prestigious Backpacker Editors’ Choice award in 2006 and this award winner is an excellent solution for keeping contents of your pack dry. It’s made of 30D Ultra-Sil™ CORDURA® brand fabric, making it super lightweight and is an oval shape to fit inside packs easier. The extra wide opening roll-top closure folds in three before being rolled and sealed with the low profile buckles. We’ve used bright colors to help with visibility when packing and unpacking, and a 50L and 70L size range to cover all options and bag sizes.

    • Ultra-Sil Pack Liner opens wide for easy packing when it’s inside a pack
    • Unique top closure: extra fabric at the top folds in and hook and loops into place, then rolls down, creating a more compact closed loop at the top
    • Made of PU coated siliconized CORDURA®
    • Waterproof hypalon roll-top closure does not wick moisture
    • Waterproof seams – double stitched and tape sealed
    • Low profile buckles

The Field Repair Buckle is designed to permanently repair broken buckles with just the help of a screwdriver. All Sea to Summit dry bags feature Field Repair Buckles, from the lightest Ultra-Sil™ Nano™ dry sack to the heaviest Hydraulic™ dry bag. Don’t let a broken buckle ruin your adventure. Be prepared and carry a Field Repair Buckle in your repair kit.

    • One-pin side release buckles replace closures found on most top-loading backpacks, daypacks, messenger bags, PFDs, bike bags etc. They have one fixed end and one ladderlock end – the ladderlock allows you to thread through a webbing strap which can then be tightened or loosened.
    • Two-pin side release buckles are a direct replacement for non-adjustable buckles, commonly found on dry bag closures and some backpack waist belts. They are not adjustable.

The Side Release Field Repair Buckle is a replacement for the type of buckles threaded on webbing – for instance, a backpack hipbelt. The Side Release Buckles are not secured by a stainless steel pin but are a standard style buckle suitable for applications in which adjustment is needed on both sides of the buckle.

    • Repair broken backpack waist belt buckles and backpack strap buckles

The Ladder Lock Field Repair Buckle is an easy-to-use and more permanent solution for broken or worn-out buckles. The clever design allows you to repair broken buckles, using only a screwdriver. And – because the buckles are secured by a stainless steel screw, there’s no need (unlike temporary repair buckles) to replace them with sewn-on buckles on your return.

    • Replace broken ladder lock buckles found on backpack shoulder straps and compression sack straps
